Hate Crime Awareness Week

Hate Crime Awareness Week

This Hate Crime Awareness week, we are reminding residents that everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and welcome in their community.

A hate crime is a criminal offence motivated by hostility towards someone's disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity. Hate incidents can also be reported, even where a criminal offence has not taken place.

We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses a hate crime to report it. Your information can help us support victims, identify offenders and make our communities safer for everyone.

📞- Report a Crime: Call 101 or report online. In an emergency, always call 999

🤝- Stand together against Hate. Everyone deserves to live without fear, discrimination or intimidation.
